Most intense situation in Kurakhove direction, Ukraine's General Staff briefed Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, to discuss key areas of military operations, according to the official Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
One of the main topics for discussion was the situation in the Donetsk region. The most intense sector of the front remains the Kurakhove direction, where efforts are underway to strengthen the positions of Ukrainian forces.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, according to the President, the Ukrainian Defense Forces maintain control of the situation, although there are threats that require attention.
In the border area of Russia's Kursk region, the combat operation is ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers are not only defending their positions but also inflicting significant losses on Russian troops. Zelenskyy emphasized that the primary objective in this area is to weaken Russia's military potential as much as possible.
"I am grateful to all Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants, and officers who ensure the fulfillment of our national objectives," Zelenskyy stated.
Situation on frontline
In the past 24 hours, on November 24, 217 combat clashes took place on the frontline. Most of the fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost over 732,000 soldiers. Just in the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,610 more Russian military.
