Trump says he won’t participate in new TV debate with Harris
Donald Trump, the US presidential candidate, stated that he is not inclined to participate in a new televised debate with his opponent Kamala Harris. Trump believes he won the previous debate, according to CNN.
“When you win the debate, I don’t, I don’t know that I want to do another debate,” Trump said.
Trump also claimed that Harris allegedly received the debate questions in advance of the presidential debate on ABC. In his opinion, the debate was “rigged.”
“They had a rigged show with somebody that maybe even had the answers, I mean, I’ll be honest, I watched her talk, and I said, you know, she seems awfully familiar with the questions,” Trump said.
Harris-Trump debate
In the early hours of September 11, a debate took place between the US presidential candidates, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris. According to polling data, Kamala Harris was deemed the winner of the debate.
During the debate, Trump and Harris primarily discussed domestic issues. However, the international segment focused largely on Ukraine. Notably, Trump did not provide a clear answer regarding the end of the war in Ukraine, leading Harris to accuse him of pandering to Vladimir Putin.
