Trump reacts for the first time to Russian drone attack on Poland

US President Donald Trump has commented for the first time on the Russian drone attack on Poland, a NATO member, according to Trump’s post on Truth Social.
"What’s with Russia violating Poland’s airspace with drones? Here we go!" Trump wrote.
According to media reports, Trump may call Polish President Karol Nawrocki on September 10. The call follows the Russian drone attack on Poland.
Meanwhile, US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker stated that the United States firmly supports its allies following the violation of Poland’s airspace by Russian drones, promising to "defend every inch of NATO territory".
Russian drone attack on Poland
On the night of September 10, Russia launched a drone strike on Ukraine that for the first time also reached Poland, a NATO member. At least 19 drones entered Polish territory. The Polish Interior Ministry reported that seven drones and "remains of a missile of unidentified origin" were identified.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization activated Article 4 in response to the violation of Poland’s airspace by Russian drones. This allows member states to discuss the situation with allies in the North Atlantic Council.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called the Alliance’s response to the incident in Poland "very successful." He emphasized that last night demonstrated NATO’s readiness to defend every centimeter of its territory, including airspace.
In response to NATO statements, the Russian Ministry of Defense falsely claimed that the drones that attacked Poland did not exceed a range of 700 kilometers and that no targets on Polish territory were planned for destruction. The Kremlin declined to comment further on the situation.
