Trump to speak with Polish President over Russian drone incident, media report

US President Donald Trump is expected to call Polish President Karol Nawrocki today, September 10, after a Russian drone attack on Poland, according to AFP correspondent Danny Kemp.
"President Trump and the White House are tracking the reports out of Poland, and there are plans for President Trump to speak with President Nawrocki today," Kemp quoted an unnamed White House official.
Journalists had previously asked Trump about Russian drones in Poland, but he ignored the question.
Russian drones in Polish airspace
On the night of September 10, Russia launched drones and missiles at Ukraine, targeting western regions of the country.
During the attack, some drones entered Polish airspace. Poland’s air defense began intercepting the aerial targets.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that a total of 19 Russian drones were detected in the country’s airspace overnight, of which four were successfully shot down.
In response to the attack, NATO invoked Article 4, initiating consultations among member states.
