Trump dodges tough question on Russian drones in Poland

US President Donald Trump refused to comment on reports of Russian attack drones violating Polish airspace.
As Trump was leaving a restaurant in Washington, a journalist attempted to ask him about the situation with Russian drones in Polish airspace.
"Mr President, what about Russian drones getting into Polish airspace tonight?" the reporter asked.
Trump did not answer and instead walked to his car, accompanied by his security detail.
Russian Shaheds entered Poland
In the early hours of Wednesday, September 10, Russian attack drones violated Polish airspace. Fighter jets were deployed to counter the threat.
Due to the massive attack and the potential danger to the country, airports in Warsaw, Lublin, and Rzeszów were temporarily shut down.
According to official statements, the airports were closed due to unplanned military activity aimed at ensuring state security.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened an emergency government meeting after the incursion of Russian drones.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready to provide Poland with all available data regarding the drone incursion and to assist in strengthening its air defense and alert systems.
Brussels has already reacted to the drones' entry into Poland, calling it no coincidence. Meanwhile, Polish President Karol Nawrocki, in his statement, did not specify that the drones were Russian.
