Russia has insisted that it did not plan to strike targets on Polish territory during the night of September 10. However, it is not explained how its drones ended up there, according to the Russian Defense Ministry's statement.

"No targets were planned on Polish territory. The maximum flight range of the Russian drones used in the strike, which allegedly crossed into Poland, does not exceed 700 km," the Russian Defense Ministry claimed.

The ministry of the aggressor state added that it is ready to hold consultations with the Polish Defense Ministry regarding the incident.

At the same time, Moscow once again boasted that all its intended targets in Ukraine during the September 10 attack were "successfully hit." According to Russia, the strikes were aimed at Ukraine's defense industry facilities, including the Lviv Armored Plant and the Lviv Aircraft Repair Plant.

Overnight attack on Poland

In the early hours of September 10, Russia once again launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine.

What made this particular attack stand out was that Russian drones targeted not only Ukraine but also Poland.

According to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, 19 drones entered Polish territory, of which only 4 were shot down.

Tusk also noted that a significant number of drones came from Belarusian territory.
