Seven drones and the remains of an unidentified missile were found in Poland after the Russian army violated its airspace during the night, according to The Guardian.

According to Karolina Galecka, spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Polish authorities have so far identified seven drones and "remains of a missile of unidentified origin."

Meanwhile, Jacek Goryszewski, spokesperson for the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command, clarified that some of the drones detected during the night resemble Gerbera decoy drones in appearance, but this still needs to be verified.

He also noted that the missile debris is currently classified as of unknown origin and may turn out to be a defensive missile.

On the night of Wednesday, September 10, Russian strike drones violated Polish airspace. Aviation was called in to repel the threat.

Due to the massive Russian attack and potential danger to the country, airports in Warsaw, Lublin, and Rzeszów were temporarily suspended.

19 Russian drones flew into Polish airspace, of which only four were shot down by Polish air defense forces.

For the first time, a residential building was damaged in Poland as a result of a Russian attack.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that after the incident, Warsaw officially asked NATO to invoke Article 4 of the Treaty.

Analysts at Defense Express suggest that Moscow had been preparing such strikes in advance.
