Russia planned strikes on Poland and Lithuania for months: Key detail revealed

Russian troops have been preparing strikes on Poland and Lithuania for several months, as they have been using 4G modems with SIM cards from Polish operators since at least June, according to Defense Express.
In early July, it was revealed in Poland that 4G modems with SIM cards from Polish operators were found among the wreckage of Russian drones shot down in Ukraine.
In addition to Polish SIM cards, a SIM card from a Lithuanian operator was also found in one of the drones. This directly indicates Russia's preparation for drone flights over the territory of these countries and tests of connection to mobile networks.
These findings were reported to partners in Poland and Lithuania. At the same time, this information caused almost no resonance in Poland, although Russian drones began to fly into its airspace regularly back in the summer.
Russian drones flew into Poland at night
On the night of Wednesday, September 10, Russian strike drones violated Polish airspace. Aviation was called in to repel the threat. Due to the Russian massive attack and potential danger to the country, airports in Warsaw, Lublin, and Rzeszów were temporarily suspended.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened an emergency government meeting after Russian drones violated Polish airspace.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready to provide Poland with all available data on the Russian drone incursion and to assist in the development of an early warning and air defense system.
