Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine is ready to provide Poland with all available data on the incursion of Russian strike drones into its territory and to assist in the development of an early warning and air defense system.

As Zelenskyy notes, more and more information is coming in about Russian strike drones entering Polish territory. As of now, 8 drones are known to have crossed the border.

"More information is coming in about the intrusion of Russian attack drones into Polish territory. As of now, it’s known about 8 drones. Increasing evidence indicates that this movement, this direction of strike, was no accident. There have been previous incidents of individual Russian drones crossing the border and traveling a short distance into neighboring countries. But this time, we are recording a much larger scale and deliberate targeting," the President emphasizes.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is ready to provide Poland with available data on the Russian attack, as well as to assist in developing a warning and protection system against similar threats.

He stresses that Russian aggression is a threat to every independent country in the region, and only joint and coordinated actions by partners can guarantee security.

Zelenskyy calls the simultaneous use of combat aircraft by several European countries to shoot down Russian weapons and protect civilians an important precedent. Ukraine has long proposed the creation of a joint air defense system to ensure the guaranteed destruction of Russian Shaheds and other drones through the combined power of combat aviation and air defense.

"Together, Europeans are always stronger. Russia must feel that the response to this escalatory step, and even more so to an attempt to humiliate one of Europe’s key countries, will be clear and strong from all partners," the President stresses.

Russian drones flew into Poland

On the night of Wednesday, September 10, Russian strike drones violated Polish airspace. Aviation was called in to repel the air threat.

Russia launched at least 8 drones at Poland and hit a residential building. This happened during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine with 415 drones and 43 missiles.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk convened an emergency government meeting due to numerous violations of the country's airspace by Russian drones.

Brussels has already responded to the arrival of Russian drones in Poland, calling it no coincidence.

However, Polish President Karol Nawrocki did not mention in his statement that the drones were Russian.
