US President Donald Trump suggested that he could reach an agreement with Iran as early as Monday, April 6. Otherwise, he threatened to "blow everything up."

Fox News host Trey Yingst said he had a 15-minute conversation with Trump. During the call, the US leader shared details about the negotiations and what would happen if no deal is reached.

According to Trump, if Iran does not quickly reach an agreement, he is considering "blowing everything up" and taking control of the country's oil. He also added that in such a scenario, bridges across Iran would be destroyed, and power plants too.

When the host asked about the possibility of a deal, Trump said that those negotiating on behalf of Iran would be granted amnesty so they could continue talks.

The US president also expressed confidence that a deal could be achieved by the next day.

"I think there's a good chance, they're negotiating right now," Trump summarized.

Ending the war against Iran

Earlier in April, Trump suggested the war against Iran could last another two to three weeks. He also addressed the nation, reiterating this timeline but warning that serious strikes would occur during this period.

At the same time, Trump is demanding that Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz, giving them another 48 hours yesterday. Today, he repeated his demand, this time using strong language, stating that he would target bridges and power plants on Tuesday if the strait remains closed.

It remains unclear how the negotiations are progressing. The US president claims talks are ongoing, although media reports suggest the discussions may have reached a deadlock.
