Cynical strike on Odesa
Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that on the night of March 2, Russians launched 17 Shahed drones and three Kh-59/Kh-35 missiles at Ukraine. Air Defense Forces shot down 14 drones, but there were hits.
In Odesa, an enemy drone hit a nine-story building. An entire entrance and 18 apartments were destroyed.
Among the victims of the Russian attack are children, including infants. Mourning was declared in Odesa and the region for the deceased.
On Sunday evening, rescuers in Odesa completed a search operation at the site of the enemy drone strike on the high-rise building.
As a result of the Russian attack, 12 people were killed, including five children.
Italy decides to withdraw its air defense system from Slovakia
Italy plans to withdraw its air defense system from Slovakia, which was temporarily transferred to the country last year to replace the American Patriot air defense system.
Slovakia's Prime Minister, Robert Fico, stated that he received a notification from the Italian government on the withdrawal of the air defense system, which "they lent us for a year, (it) will be withdrawn from Slovakia because they need it elsewhere."
US airdrops humanitarian aid to Gaza residents
The United States military conducted the first airdrop of humanitarian aid in Gaza.
Three American C-130 aircraft delivered over 38,000 food portions to the area, where, according to the UN, a quarter of the population is on the brink of starvation.
