A Ukrainian military family perished in Odesa as a result of a Russian attack on March 2nd. The enemy strike also claimed the lives of the defenders' seven-month-old child, according to the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

As a result of the Shahed strike on a nine-story building in Odesa, Oleh and Tetiana Kravets lost their lives. They met while in service, and later Tetiana resigned to take care of their newborn daughter. On February 29, she had just turned seven months old.

Tetiana also had two children from a previous marriage: 9-year-old Serhii and 8-year-old Zlata, who are still being sought under the rubble.

It's noted that Oleh's brother perished in the ATO zone in 2014.

Cynical strike on Odesa on March 2

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the night of March 2nd, the Russians launched 17 Shahed drones and three Kh-59/Kh-35 missiles at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 14 drones, but some managed to hit their targets.

In Odesa, an enemy drone struck a nine-story building, destroying an entire entrance and 18 apartments.

Ten casualties have been confirmed so far as a result of the attack. Among the victims of the Russian attack are three children, including infants. Mourning has been declared in Odesa and the region for the deceased.

The search and rescue operation at the scene of the tragedy continues, with people still buried under the debris.
