Russian drone hits bread delivery vehicle in Ukraine's Chernihiv region

Russian forces attacked a vehicle delivering bread to residents of border villages in Ukraine's Chernihiv region with a drone on December 30. The driver was injured and hospitalized, the press service of the Chernihiv Regional Police reports.
"On December 30, in the Semenivka community of Novhorod-Siverskyi district, Russian forces hit a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old man with a drone while he was delivering bread to residents of border villages," police said.
As a result of the attack, the man was injured and hospitalized. Medics provided him with the necessary assistance, and police questioned the victim at the medical facility.
Investigators opened a criminal case under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).

Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of December 31, Russia attacked Ukraine using 127 attack drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones.
Enemy drones attacked, in particular, Odesa and the surrounding region.
According to local authorities, the enemy once again targeted civilian and energy infrastructure in the region. In one of the settlements, warehouses belonging to a logistics company caught fire during the attack.
It later became known that Russian drones hit apartment buildings in two districts of Odesa. Fires broke out in apartments in one of them. There were casualties, including children.
The regional military administration also showed the aftermath of the enemy attack on Odesa.
Overall, on the night of December 30, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Ukrainian territory, using ballistic missiles and dozens of attack drones.
