Russia unleashes over 120 drones on Ukraine overnight

On the night of December 31, Russia attacked Ukraine using 127 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
From 6:00 p.m. on December 30 to the morning of December 31, the Russians attacked with 127 Shahed and Gerbera strike drones and other types of drones from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Chauda - Crimea. About 80 of them were Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down/suppressed 101 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Twenty strike drones were recorded hitting 11 locations.
“The enemy continues to attack with drones. Combat operations are ongoing. Follow safety rules!” warned the Air Force.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of December 31, Russia again carried out a massive attack on Ukraine. Enemy drones attacked, in particular, Odesa, Kyiv, and the region.
Yesterday, December 30, the Chornomorskyi port was attacked twice in one day, resulting in a fire in an oil tank. The port of Pivdennyi was also attacked.
In total, on the night of December 30, Russian troops carried out a combined attack on Ukrainian territory, using ballistic missiles and dozens of strike drones.
