Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine with 9 bombs, casualties reported

Russia carried out nine strikes with guided aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. Four people were killed, and six were injured, reports Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov.
Based on preliminary assessment, Russian forces targeted the city with nine guided aerial bombs.
The regional military administration says four people were killed and six were injured as a result of the recent attack on Zaporizhzhia.

The death toll from the attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to five—the body of a woman was recovered from under the rubble of a private house. Ten people were injured and required medical assistance.
The injured are receiving all the medical care they need.
One more person is likely still trapped under the rubble. Reports of additional consequences are still being received by emergency services.

Other attacks by Russia on Zaporizhzhia city and region
Earlier, on June 16, Russia carried out five strikes on Zaporizhzhia city, killing one person and injuring three. The attacks destroyed a residential building and a shopping center.
On June 8, a Russian drone struck a residential district of the same city, killing two people and injuring 15. The same week, guided aerial bombs hit near a bus stop in the village of Balabyne, about 5 km from Zaporizhzhia — three people waiting for transport were killed.
