Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia with ballistic missile: Casualties reported

On Friday, June 26, the Russians launched a ballistic missile strike on the center of Zaporizhzhia. The strike resulted in casualties and a fire, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Russia attacked the city amid the threat of ballistic missile strikes.
Fedorov notes that, as of now, 6 people have been injured as a result of the Russian attack.
The head of the Regional Military Administration also notes that medical personnel are providing the wounded with all necessary care.

At 12:46 p.m. Kyiv time, the number of casualties from the Russian strike rose to 7.
On June 24, Russian forces struck a beach in Zaporizhzhia. 4 people were injured, including 3 children.
In addition, vehicles and a restaurant, which is currently closed, were damaged.
On the night of June 22, Russian troops carried out several attacks on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the Russian strikes, residential buildings in the city were damaged, and people were injured.
On June 20, Russian airstrikes on the city caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure. 12 high-rise buildings, a social services facility, private homes, and vehicles were damaged.
Another Russian attack took place on the evening of June 16. As a result of the Russian strike, fires broke out in a residential building and a shopping center.
The Russian command has ordered a significant increase in the number of suicide drone strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
