Russian strike devastates Zaporizhzhia, triggering fires and injuries

Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia several times on the night of June 21-22. As a result of these strikes, houses were damaged and people were injured in the city, according to a Telegram post by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
According to his posts, the consequences of the first attack became known at 23:06 Kyiv time. Two hours earlier, the region was under the threat of drone and guided aerial bomb strikes.
Russian units then struck a private household in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out at the site of the attack, and two people are known to have been injured.
"Among the injured are a 67-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man. The woman sustained shrapnel wounds to her limbs. The man was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction," the statement reads.
Later, at approximately 01:40 Kyiv time, the city was attacked by drones. As a result of this attack, a house was destroyed, a high-rise building was damaged, and one man sustained injuries.
"A private house was destroyed. A fire broke out. A man was injured. He is receiving medical assistance. A multi-story building was also damaged. Windows were blown out, and the facade was damaged. The consequences are already being addressed," the post said.

Attacks on Zaporizhzhia
Russian units regularly attack Zaporizhzhia. In particular, on Saturday, June 20, Russian airstrikes caused extensive damage to the city's civilian infrastructure. The enemy damaged 12 multi-story buildings, a social facility, private property, and vehicles.
In addition, the enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia on the evening of June 16. At that time, a fire broke out in a residential building and a shopping center as a result of the attack.
