Russia strikes beach in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Children among injured, footage

On Wednesday, June 24, Russian forces struck a beach in Zaporizhzhia. Among the injured are three children, according to the statement of the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
The enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia took place amid a threat of strike drones in the region.
"Four people were injured, including three children. Each of them is receiving medical assistance," Fedorov emphasized.
He added that cars and a food establishment, which is currently not operating, were damaged.

The occupying forces regularly strike Zaporizhzhia. In particular, on Saturday, June 20, Russian airstrikes caused extensive destruction of civilian infrastructure in the city. Twelve apartment buildings were damaged, along with a social facility, private property, and vehicles.
In addition, the aggressor state attacked Zaporizhzhia on the evening of June 16. The strike caused a fire in a residential building and a shopping center.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that the enemy had received a direct order to significantly increase the number of kamikaze drone strikes on Zaporizhzhia. Russian forces are planning attacks on civilian targets in the city.
