Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia: Elderly woman injured, residential building damaged

On the morning of June 1, Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia. A residential building was damaged, and a 73-year-old woman was injured. Emergency services are on the scene, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

The air raid alert in the city remains in effect; residents are urged to stay in safe places.
Zaporizhzhia is under constant Russian attack. On May 29, Russian troops attacked the city, damaging buildings and injuring two people. Before that, on May 6, the Russians struck an industrial infrastructure facility, and on May 5, Russia carried out airstrikes: dozens of people were injured, and cars, a store, and a business were set ablaze. Even earlier, on April 2, a blast wave damaged a high-rise building and a municipal utility.
