New round of peace talks being prepared for October - Zelenskyy's office

The next round of peace talks is planned for October 2026 in a trilateral format, states Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Presidential Office, on the sidelines of the YES Annual Meeting 2026 conference organized by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation.
"We are preparing. For October," Budanov said in response to questions from journalists.
The Presidential Office head confirmed that the meeting would be held in a trilateral format.
However, when asked by an RBC-Ukraine correspondent whether the meeting would take place in the Middle East, Budanov declined to specify the location of the potential meeting.
Peace talks
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has a strong position in peace talks on ending the war launched by Russia.
According to him, Kyiv has also received a new "positive signal" from international partners.
In addition, Zelenskyy said he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the G20 summit in Miami to agree on concrete decisions to end the war.
