Kharkiv under relentless Russian drone attack as city comes under fire

On the night of June 1, Kharkiv is being attacked by enemy drones. About ten strikes have been recorded on the outskirts of the Slobidskyi district, and there is also information about a hit in the Osnovyanskyi district, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
What is known at this moment
On the outskirts of the Slobidskyi district, bordering the ring road, about ten strikes have been recorded. According to Terekhov, enemy drones were still flying toward the city.
In the Osnovyanskyi district, a UAV strike caused a fire – garages and cars are burning in a garage cooperative next to multi-story buildings. Another strike was recorded on the outskirts of Kharkiv.
Casualties
In the Osnovyanskyi district, a 34-year-old woman was injured – medics are providing her with necessary assistance. Emergency services are working at the scenes.
Two days ago, Russians attacked a team of energy workers in the Kharkiv region with a drone; two workers were injured.
Despite the attacks, the Defence Forces are strengthening their positions: the Hartia corps, together with other units, is building a deeply echeloned defence on the Kharkiv direction – digging trenches and anti-tank ditches.
