Russian strikes on energy infrastructure
In recent months, Russian troops have intensified their strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, resulting in power outage schedules being introduced in most regions.
Ukraine intensified power cuts after a large-scale Russian strike on energy infrastructure facilities on the night of November 8 with drones and Kalibr and Kinzhal missiles.
According to a statement by Centrenergo electric and thermal energy-producing company, this was the largest Russian attack since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Its thermal power plants, Zmiiv and Trypilska, have completely stopped generating electricity.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said that energy companies had begun restoring the Zmiiv and Trypilska thermal power plants, but did not provide any details.
On Monday, November 10, the Russians continued to strike Ukraine's energy facilities. On November 11, Russia carried out another attack on energy facilities in 3 regions: Kharkiv, Odesa, and Donetsk.
