Russia strikes critical infrastructure in Ukraine's Vinnytsia region: Power outages reported

On the morning of February 3, Russia attacked critical infrastructure in the Vinnytsia region and left about 50 settlements without power, according to Natalia Zabolotna, head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.
"Vinnytsia region is under a massive Russian attack today. Critical infrastructure facilities have been hit," the message says.
As of now, there is no information about casualties.
Firefighting operations are ongoing at the sites. The Russian attack left about 50 settlements without power. Energy companies have already begun emergency restoration work to restore the power supply.
All emergency and specialized services are working at the sites.
Russia's attack on Ukraine on February 3
On the night of Tuesday, February 3, Russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine with kamikaze drones, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and a number of other regions came under Russian fire.
Russian attack caused damage to residential high-rise buildings, educational institutions, and infrastructure facilities.
According to the Ukrainian military, the Russian attack began on the evening of February 2 with the launch of groups of strike drones. Drones were detected in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Odesa, and Donetsk regions.
Russian troops then moved on to using missile weapons. In particular, after 1:50 a.m. Kyiv time, high-speed air targets were detected in the direction of the Kyiv region. Monitoring channels reported the possible use of Zircon missiles, as well as Kh-22/32 and Kalibr missiles.
The city of Sumy was also under Russian attack. Among the consequences of the Russian attacks on Sumy were damage to residential buildings and fires. Many residents were left without heat.
