Over the past week, Russia carried out one of the largest series of air attacks on Ukraine, deploying more than 1,500 strike drones, nearly 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles of various types, according to the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He stated that following the Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, all relevant services are working to restore electricity, heating, and water supplies.
The situation remains difficult, with hundreds of thousands of families still without power in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Russian attacks continue, noting that last night communities were hit again and there were casualties.
"Russia is prolonging the war and wants to cause as much harm as possible to our people. Over the past week alone, the Russians launched more than 1,500 strike drones, nearly 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles of various types across Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
At the same time, the head of state said that Ukraine is ready for constructive diplomacy to achieve a just peace. In the coming days, he added, the schedule will be filled with international negotiations, and Kyiv is counting on support from its partners.
