Russian forces have received a batch of Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun systems, as well as Pantsir-SMD stationary surface-to-air missile systems, according to the manufacturer's Telegram channel.

The manufacturer said that Pantsir systems can be used against various types of aerial targets. The payload in the launcher rails can be mixed and now totals up to 48 missiles.

The mobile multichannel Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun system is designed to protect small military and administrative-industrial facilities from aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and precision-guided weapons.

Meanwhile, the new Pantsir-SMD systems are designed to protect various facilities from massive attacks, including those involving unmanned aerial vehicles.

Earlier, Ukrainian military intelligence drones struck several high-value targets belonging to Russian forces in southern Ukraine, including a Pantsir-S1 missile and gun system, a Sargan patrol boat and a Forpost station.

Ukrainian intelligence drones also destroyed the Russian Murmansk-BN electronic warfare system in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Recently, a launcher and radar of an S-400 air defense system were destroyed in Crimea. Ukrainian forces struck the equipment directly at its combat position.

In addition, in early August, the Ukrainian intelligence unit Group 13 destroyed a Russian Pantsir-S1 missile and gun system and a military crane in temporarily occupied Crimea. The destroyed Pantsir system was estimated to be worth around $15 million.

To strike the Russian forces' ground targets during the operation, the Ukrainian military used Magura multifunctional maritime platforms equipped to carry FPV drones.
