Ukrainian Defense Intelligence (HUR) drones destroyed a high-value Russian Murmansk-BN electronic warfare system in Russian-occupied Crimea.

As reported, on the night of July 26–27, specialists from the Unmanned Systems Department of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine tracked down and struck a Murmansk-BN electronic warfare system station near Cape Fiolent in temporarily occupied Crimea.

This coastal electronic warfare system is designed for radio intelligence, signal interception, and suppression in the shortwave range at distances of up to 5,000 km.

Successful operations by Ukrainian Defense Intelligence

Recently, a launcher and radar of an S-400 air defense system were destroyed by fire in temporarily occupied Crimea. Ukrainian forces destroyed the equipment directly at its combat position.

It was also reported that the Ukrainian defense company MAC HUB, together with Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, is developing a strategy to counter Russia’s shadow fleet. Using upgraded Katran naval drones, special forces will detect and detain vessels carrying sanctioned cargo.
