In the temporarily occupied Crimea, a launcher and radar unit of an S-400 air defense system burned. Ukrainian military personnel destroyed the equipment right at its combat position, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

Operation details

The operation was carried out by soldiers from the Unmanned Systems Department of the Defense of Ukraine.

They tracked down a Russian S-400 Triumph air defense missile system on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of July 25–26.

The intelligence officers destroyed the system’s launcher and the 96L6 radar station, which is part of the system.

Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has agreed with the military command on an updated list of priority targets for long-range strikes against Russia. According to him, the strike range of Ukrainian drones has already exceeded 3,000 kilometers.

In the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol, power restrictions were imposed due to grid overload. Russian occupying authorities simultaneously declared an air raid alert and claimed there had been an alleged attack by Ukrainian drones.
