Russian drone attacks on Ukraine

On August 2, Russia launched another wave of Shahed kamikaze drone attacks against Ukraine. Around 12:30 AM Kyiv time, an explosion rocked Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region, damaging several private homes and injuring women inside. Drones also targeted one of Kharkiv’s districts.

On the night of August 3, explosions and smoke were reported near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Preliminary data suggests damage to one of the auxiliary facilities at the plant.

Additionally, at 10:01 PM Kyiv time on August 2, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Mykolaiv. The attack damaged and destroyed residential buildings, leaving seven people wounded.

Notably, on the evening of August 3, Russian Shahed drones were again active over Ukraine. Air raid alarms sounded in several regions.
