Russia launches massive strikes on Ukraine's gas facilities

Russian forces carried out strikes on Naftogaz Group production facilities in different regions of Ukraine for a second consecutive day, said Sergii Koretskyi, head of Naftogaz Ukraine.
Strikes in Poltava and Sumy regions
According to Koretskyi, over the past 24 hours, the enemy attacked the company’s production facilities in the Poltava region and carried out new massive attacks in the Sumy region, which are ongoing. Emergency Service units and other relevant teams are working on site.
Equipment damaged
The attack caused damage and destruction to production equipment, but preliminary reports indicate no casualties. Once the security situation stabilizes, specialists will begin recovery and repairs.
Koretskyi noted that these strikes mark the 20th attack on Naftogaz facilities since the beginning of the year.
Strikes on February 9
On the night of February 9, Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones and artillery, causing destruction and casualties.
That same night, drones struck Odesa. A 35-year-old man was killed, and two others, including a 19-year-old woman, were injured. The attack damaged 21 apartments: 39 windows were blown out in private residences and 18 more in common areas. Two cars were destroyed, and six others were damaged by debris.
In addition, Russian strike drones hit the private housing area of Bohodukhiv in the Kharkiv region. A residential building was completely destroyed, causing a fire. Rescuers recovered the bodies of two victims, a woman and a 10-year-old boy, from the rubble, and three more people were injured.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy also launched 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region and 149 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other models, during the night.
