Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the 59N6‑E Protivnik radar, the 73E6 Parol radar, and a launcher from the S‑400 Triumf air defense system in temporarily occupied Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

“As part of efforts to reduce the air defense capabilities of the Russian aggressor, during the night of March 15, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the 59N6‑E Protivnik radar and 73E6 Parol radar stations near Liebknechtivka in temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea,” the statement said.

A strike was also recorded on a launcher belonging to the S‑400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system near Dalnie (temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea).

The scale of the damage is currently being clarified.

At the same time, it was confirmed that following a strike on March 10 on the Valdai radar complex near Prymorske (temporarily occupied Crimea), the system sustained significant damage.

“Systematic strikes on the enemy’s air defense systems significantly reduce its ability to control the airspace and protect other military facilities,” the General Staff said.

Strikes on Russian targets

It should be recalled that on the night of March 14, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Maykop air base in the Russian Republic of Adygea, hitting infrastructure facilities.

That same night, Ukrainian forces also launched new strikes on Russian territory, hitting the Afipsky oil refinery and infrastructure at the Port Kavkaz.

Units of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces also struck launchers of the Iskander tactical missile system with drones that were based in occupied Crimea. The enemy was preparing to use them to attack Ukrainian cities.

On March 11 and during the night of March 12, Ukraine’s Defense Forces also carried out powerful strikes on military facilities of the Russian occupiers.

On March 10, Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully struck the microelectronics plant Kremniy El in Bryansk using Storm Shadow missiles.

Earlier, Ukrainian defenders also carried out a series of successful strikes against Russian targets. Ukraine’s Defense Forces attacked radars belonging to the S‑300 system and the Buk‑M3 missile system.

In addition, Ukraine’s Armed Forces destroyed a storage, preparation, and launch base for Shahed drone UAVs near Donetsk International Airport using ATACMS and SCALP missile.
