In temporarily Russian-occupied Donetsk, a large number of explosions were heard on the evening of November 13, followed by a major fire. Power outages occurred in some parts of the city, according to Russian media and local channels.
Local channels posted videos of a massive attack on the temporarily occupied city by "unknown drones." After a series of explosions, power went out in some districts. Preliminary reports indicate that targets at the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant (currently inactive), which Russian occupying forces had turned into a military base, were hit.
Russian sources also report that the explosions caused an automatic shutdown of 22 transformer substations in Donetsk's Voroshylovskyi and Kyivskyi districts, leaving at least 3,100 residents without electricity.
Russian air defense systems began operating over the occupied city, resulting in anti-aircraft missile debris falling onto streets and homes in one district.
Reports recently emerged online about an attack on the Starobesheve thermal power plant in the Russian-occupied part of the Donetsk region. Following the strike, Russians began complaining en masse about power outages in many areas.
On the night of November 5, the Defense Forces struck key targets of the Russian forces. These included a launch site for Shahed drones in temporarily occupied Donetsk, an oil refinery in Russia’s Volgograd, and oil facilities in Crimea. The destroyed drone site housed over 1,000 UAVs and more than 1,500 warheads.
Earlier, another large ammunition depot was hit in Russia’s Belgorod region. The incident occurred on October 23, when Ukrainian drones reached the depot at night.
