The number of people injured as a result of Russia's missile strike on Kharkiv on April 18 has risen to 112. Among them are children, according to the Telegram of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Again, the number of injured has increased. Currently, there are 112," Terekhov reported.

Additionally, according to the mayor, another 12-year-old boy has been hospitalized after being caught in the terrorist bombing of Kharkiv this morning. Thus, there are now nine children among the injured.

Strike on Kharkiv on Good Friday

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with ballistic missiles this morning, April 18.

The missiles struck a residential neighborhood in the Osnovianskyi district, causing a large number of civilians to be injured, including children. Earlier, 103 injured were reported.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Russian forces launched the attack on Kharkiv using Iskander cruise missiles.

Recently, the Russian army has increasingly used ballistic missiles to strike peaceful cities. The enemy is also using cluster munitions, which leads to a high number of casualties and injuries among the civilian population.

On April 13, Russia attacked Sumy with two ballistic missiles, resulting in 35 deaths.
