According to prosecutors, 117 people were injured, including 15 children.
The strike on Sumy
On April 13, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the center of Sumy. Ballistic missiles with cluster warheads exploded in an area crowded with civilians. A trolleybus was passing near the site at the moment of impact.
Already yesterday, it was known that dozens were killed in the Russian attack.
French President Emmanuel Macron, reacting to the tragedy, emphasized that Russia is choosing war instead of agreeing to a ceasefire proposal.
In recent weeks, Russia has carried out several similar attacks. For instance, on Friday, April 4, Russian forces struck a residential area in Kryvyi Rih. A missile exploded near a playground, killing nine children.
More details on the attack can be found in the material by RBC-Ukraine.
