Russian ballistic missile attack on Kharkiv

On the morning of April 18, around 5 a.m. Kyiv time, when the city was still sleeping, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kharkiv. They targeted the Osnovianskyi district.

Russian occupiers fired 3 Iskander ballistic missiles at residential areas. As in the recent attacks on Kryvyi Rih and Sumy, one of the missiles exploded in midair, a tactic that allows the Russian occupiers to hit a larger area and cause more destruction and injuries.

Initially, it was reported that at least 60 people were injured in the Russian strikes. Among them are four girls aged 3, 4, 14, and 16 and a 17-year-old boy. Unfortunately, one person was killed - a 79-year-old man. Later, the number of wounded in Kharkiv increased to 74, then to 82, and 87.
