Night drone attack across Ukraine: Hospital, homes and hypermarket hit from Kharkiv to Odesa region

Russia launched overnight drone strikes on Izmail, Kharkiv, Shostka, and other Ukrainian cities, leaving one dead and several injured.
RBC-Ukraine has compiled everything known about the aftermath of the attack as of the morning.
Key points:
- Odesa region, Izmail: infrastructure hit, district hospital damaged, casualties reported.

On the night of April 29, the enemy attacked several regions of the country — Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions came under strikes.
Izmail: Strike on the hospital
On the night of April 29, the enemy struck the Izmail district of the Odesa region. The infrastructure facilities of the city of Izmail came under attack.
The building of the district hospital was damaged. There are casualties.

Kharkiv: Drones from multiple directions
Kharkiv was attacked overnight by unmanned aerial vehicles approaching the city from different directions.
One person was injured — they sustained wounds from glass. Medics assisted.
Other damage in different districts:
- Osnovianskyi district — glazing of a hypermarket garden center, 2 buses, and 1 passenger car.
- Slobidskyi district — trees burned in an open area after a hit.
- Nemyshlianskyi district — windows and roofs of 25 private houses were damaged.
This was reported by the head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov. According to him, relevant services promptly dealt with the consequences of the attack.

Shostka: One killed
The enemy carried out a combined strike on the Shostka district of the Sumy region — hits were recorded in three locations in the city.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the residential sector came under attack and fires broke out. In one of the apartment buildings, rescuers pulled one person from under rubble and evacuated 16 more.
According to preliminary information, 1 person was killed, and 1 injured.

Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy attacked Nikopol, Marhanets, and Chervonohryhorivka communities with drones. An administrative building, private houses, and 2 fire trucks were damaged. There were no casualties. During the night, 17 enemy drones were shot down in the region.
This was reported by the mayor of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul. All city services, hospitals, and transport are operating normally.
Mykolaiv region
In the Mykolaiv region, the enemy attacked the Ochakiv community 11 times with FPV drones, as well as the Kutsurub community with Molniya-type strike drones.
According to the head of the regional military administration, Vitalii Kim, one private house was damaged in the village of Dmytrivka. There were no casualties.
Russia attacked Ukraine with 171 drones overnight
During the night, Russia launched 171 unmanned aerial vehicles at Ukraine, about 120 of them were Shahed drones. The enemy used Shahed, Gerbera, Italmás, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Air defense shot down or suppressed 154 enemy UAVs.
Hits were recorded at 10 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at 12 more.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that, despite heavy losses at the front, Russia is preparing to expand mobilization and launch new offensives.
According to him, irrecoverable Russia's losses have already reached about 60% of the total, and even Russians themselves acknowledge their inability to fulfill tasks set by their command.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump told British King Charles III that "he (Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin) wants war" and added that Putin could "wipe out the population."
