US President Donald Trump, in the first minutes of his meeting with King Charles III of the United Kingdom, likely made a troubling remark about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plans for the war, according to the New York Post.

According to the outlet, professional lip reader Nicola Hickling decoded Trump’s conversation with the king.

After exchanging greetings, the US leader allegedly mentioned an attempt on his life that occurred during a formal dinner with journalists.

"I’d rather not stand about here too long," the British monarch replied.

After that, the US leader abruptly changed the subject.

"So right now, I am talking to Putin. He wants war," Trump said.

King Charles suggested discussing the issue later, but the US President continued:

"I’ve got a feeling … if he did what he said, he will wipe out the population."

After that, the conversation shifted to Trump’s "point of pride"—a $400 million White House ballroom project.

The US President and the First Lady then invited the guests into the White House.

Trump’s talks with Putin

A few days ago, US President Donald Trump said he continues to hold regular talks with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He expressed hope that the United States would achieve results in its efforts to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Trump also recently said that if Russian President Vladimir Putin agrees to attend the G20 summit in Miami, it would be very helpful.
