Explosions were heard in Dnipro during the night on Tuesday, August 15, during a large-scale air raid alert due to another Russian missile attack. Subsequent explosions were also reported in Zaporizhzhia and in Khmelnytskyi, according to "Suspilne Dnipro," "Suspilne Zaporizhzhia," and the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration (RMA).

Explosions were heard in Dnipro at around 04:16.

Local sources also report the activation of air defense systems.

Prior to this, the Air Force Command warned residents of Dnipro about the missile danger and urged them to take cover. Additionally, military sources reported hostile rockets in the Dnipropetrovsk region at the same time.

Furthermore, around 4:30 AM, sounds of explosions were also heard in Zaporizhzhia during the air raid alert. An explosion was also reported in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Later, explosions were also heard in Khmelnytskyi.

"Explosions can be heard in the Khmelnytskyi region. Air defense systems are active. Stay in shelters! Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!" - announced the First Deputy Head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin.

The Air Force also reported the detection of enemy missiles in the direction of Starokostiantyniv, where an airfield is located. In addition, Russian missiles have been detected near Khmelnytskyi.

Around 05:20, explosions were heard in Lviv and the surrounding region. There were several explosions. Local authorities confirmed the explosions.

"Lviv region, everyone can hear it. Maintain informational silence!.. Lviv residents! Stay in shelters! The danger is still very high!" wrote Maksym Kozutskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, on Telegram.

"Explosions in Lviv again. Please, do not disregard shelters. Do not stay near windows," writes the mayor of the city, Andrii Sadovyi.

Rocket attack overnight on August 15

During the night of August 15, an air raid alert was declared in Ukraine, covering practically the entire territory of the country. It was related to a Russian missile attack. In the Air Force's statement, it was mentioned that the enemy launched cruise missiles from the strategic bomber Tu-95MS from the Caspian Sea region.

Later, the military also reported missile launches by Russians toward Ukraine from the Milleyevo region using Tu-22 M3 aircraft.
