Boy killed, two more children injured in Russian attack in Dnipropetrovsk region

An 11-year-old boy was killed in a new Russian attack on the Nikopolskyi district of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, Military Administration chief Oleksandr Hanzha said.
"An 11-year-old boy was killed in an enemy attack in the Nikopol district," he wrote.
According to the official, Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone in the Pokrovske community.
The attack also injured two other children—a 12-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. Hanzha clarified that medics immediately hospitalized both children.
"Medics are providing all the necessary assistance. My sincere condolences to the family of the boy who was killed," the regional governor wrote.
Russian attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region
During the current day, Russian forces targeted five districts of the region more than 10 times, using drones and artillery.
Russian forces damaged a logistics company's warehouse in the Dnipro district and a municipal utility company's vehicles in the city of Dnipro.
Hanzha said Russian forces targeted the Nikopol district, the city of Nikopol, and the Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Tomakivka, and Pokrovske communities.
In Kryvyi Rih and the Zelenodolsk community, Russian forces targeted infrastructure. In the Synelnykove district, they hit the Ukrainka community, where a fire broke out.
Also, Russians damaged infrastructure in the Piatykhatky community of the Kamianske district.
The media previously reported on the aftermath of a new Russian daytime attack on Kyiv, in which Russian forces struck a restaurant.
Notably, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned of possible future Russian strikes.
