On October 10, Russian forces struck a restaurant building in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said six civilians were injured.
At around 2 p.m., loud explosions rang out in Kyiv amid a new Russian attack.
Twenty minutes later, the mayor reported that a restaurant building in the Obolonskyi district had been hit.
Missile debris also fell in the courtyard of a residential building elsewhere in the same district.
"Firefighters are putting out a blaze at the restaurant building in Obolon that was hit. Rescuers have found four injured people. One of them is in serious condition. Medics are providing assistance," Mayor Klitschko said at 2:47 p.m.
He later clarified that the number of injured people in the district had risen to six.
According to the mayor, medics hospitalized five injured people.
"One person received medical assistance at the scene," Klitschko wrote.
Later, it was reported that the number of people injured in Kyiv had risen to seven.
Klitschko also added that city hospitals are now treating five of the injured.

Russia's daytime attacks on Kyiv on October 10
At around 12:50 p.m., debris from a Russian drone fell onto a 25-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district.
It later emerged that debris had also struck an eight-story office building in the same district.
Mayor Klitschko said damage to an energy facility in the Kyiv region worsened the capital's power supply.
"The city is also experiencing water supply disruptions. Specialists are working to restore water service," the mayor said.
Earlier, Klitschko issued an official statement about possibly evacuating Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned of Russia's new plans amid the latest developments.
