Ukrainian intelligence has received information confirming Russian assistance to Iran with intelligence data, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

According to the head of the Ukrainian state, he listened to a report by the Chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR), Oleh Ivashchenko.

"We have irrefutable evidence that the Russians continue to provide intelligence information to the Iranian regime," Zelenskyy said.

He added that the Russian forces are using their radio-technical and electronic intelligence capabilities, as well as some data on coordination from partners in the Middle East.

Russia is assisting Iran in the war

Earlier in March, The Washington Post reported that Russia was providing Iran with information about the locations of US military facilities in the Middle East.

In Washington, when commenting on this information, officials initially said it allegedly did not matter, as Iranian forces had already "been defeated."

At the same time, US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff said that Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with US President Donald Trump, denied such rumors.

After that, the American leader himself suggested that "Russia is somewhat helping Iran."

On March 15, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia had provided Iran with drones and information about US military bases.
