Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that December 21 marks the third day of peace plan negotiations in Florida between the Ukrainian and US delegations. He said he expects a report from the negotiation team following today's meeting.
Zelenskyy explained that the parties are working on documents covering the end of the war, security guarantees, and Ukraine's reconstruction.
"Ukraine's negotiating team is currently working in Florida – there will be more meetings today with the American delegation, with envoys of President Trump. Work on the documents on ending the war, on security guarantees, and on reconstruction is ongoing – they are going through each point in detail, and there is constructive engagement with the American side," the president said.
He added that the teams are also discussing timing, including possible time frames for specific decisions.
"I am expecting a report from Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov on the details of the discussion," Zelenskyy concluded.

US peace plan
The US, Ukraine, and Europe have been working for a month on finalizing a new American peace plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
The previous round of talks in Miami took place on December 19. The agenda included a 20-point general plan, security guarantees, and an agreement on Ukraine's reconstruction.
After the meeting, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov said that Ukraine and the US agreed on further steps and will continue joint work in the near future. He also announced the third round of negotiations today, adding that Ukraine expects "further progress and practical results."
Amid the Ukraine-US negotiations, Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev arrived in Miami to meet with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. After the first talks, Dmitriev said they would continue on Saturday (yesterday) and Sunday (today), and described the discussions as constructive.
Additionally, Zelenskyy said that yesterday, the US proposed a trilateral meeting of Ukraine, the US, and Russia at the level of National Security Advisors (NSA), and Kyiv supports the idea.
