Zelenskyy meets with Macron in Brussels

On March 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with French President Emmanuel Macron. The meeting is taking place in Brussels, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Presidential Press Secretary Serhiy Nykyforov.
"Zelenskyy is currently holding a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron," Nykyforov said.
Zelenskyy’s visit to Brussels
Zelenskyy is currently visiting Brussels. While there, he is set to participate in a special session of the European Council and will hold a series of meetings.
Earlier, Nykyforov mentioned that Zelenskyy would first meet with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. Then, he is scheduled to meet with European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
EU Summit
Today, March 6, a special summit of the EU leaders is taking place in Brussels. The meeting will focus on European defense and Ukraine, and Zelenskyy will be attending.
According to the Ukrainian President, Ukraine and Europe will prepare a plan for sustainable peace. Zelenskyy stated that this would happen soon.
In addition, Zelenskyy reacted to remarks made by French President Emmanuel Macron on March 5 during an address to the nation. In his speech, Macron touched on the Russia-Ukraine war and rejected a "fragile ceasefire" for Ukraine.

Amid this, Daily Mail reported that Macron and Keir Starmer are reportedly ready to visit Washington with Zelenskyy to present the peace plan. However, later, French government spokesperson Sophie Primas stated that while such a possibility is being considered, there are no concrete plans yet.
At the same time, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that the UK and France, together with Ukraine, will work on a plan concerning Ukraine. The plan will then be presented to US President Donald Trump.
