Zelenskyy leaves White House after extended talks with Trump, according to CNN.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy left the White House at 3:57 PM Washington time after a meeting with US President Donald Trump and senior Cabinet officials. The visit lasted roughly two and a half hours. Zelenskyy was seen off not by Trump himself but by White House protocol chief Monica Crowley.

Trump-Zelenskyy meeting

The talks began in a cordial atmosphere, with Trump joking frequently and complimenting Zelenskyy’s suit during the opening photo opportunity. Both leaders made short remarks before beginning their private discussion.

During the meeting, Zelenskyy reportedly offered "thousands of drones" in exchange for Tomahawk cruise missiles. Trump acknowledged US interest in Ukraine’s drone technology but stressed that Washington hopes to end the war without transferring Tomahawks to Kyiv.

Trump also expressed confidence that the war could be brought to an end swiftly through a flexible approach. The matter of ceasefire negotiations is expected to move forward at an upcoming summit in Budapest, where Zelenskyy will participate remotely.
