US interested in Ukrainian drones, says Trump

The United States is interested in Ukrainian drones and wants to purchase them, said US President Donald Trump during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House.
"We have a lot of drones right now. We build our own drones, but we also buy drones from others. And they (the Ukrainians - ed.) make a very good drone," Trump said.
At the same time, the US President added that nothing compares to fighter jets.
The US wants to buy drones from Ukraine
Earlier reports indicated that the United States has repeatedly expressed interest in purchasing Ukrainian-made drones.
In September, Ukraine and the US held talks on buying American weapons and launching joint drone programs.
On October 2, a Ukrainian delegation from the National Security and Defense Council, along with the Ministry of Defense, visited the United States. The sides discussed plans to purchase Ukrainian drones and deepen security cooperation.
Ukraine presented its experience in developing aerial, naval, and ground-based unmanned systems, which drew strong interest from its allies.
Additionally, Ukraine is preparing to sign an agreement with the US on transferring technologies for building drones that have been tested in combat conditions.
