Ukrainian President has urged people to respond to air raid alerts and remain vigilant for any threats, saying that warnings of a possible large-scale strike remain in effect.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine's partners had discussed the issue of a potential massive attack with Russia. However, he stressed there is no belief that anyone in Moscow will reconsider its actions.

"It is important to remain alert to any threat this day and night, and to air raid sirens. Intelligence information about the possibility of a massive strike remains relevant. We know that partners have raised this with the Russians. There is no belief that anyone in Moscow will come to their senses. Take care of your lives — respond to danger," the president said.

He noted that Ukraine's air defense systems, mobile fire groups, and combat aviation are on standby to the extent possible, given current supplies.

The president also said Ukraine is intercepting more than 90% of Shahed drones, while work continues with partners to improve missile defense capabilities.

"Our forces consistently shoot down more than 90% of Shaheds — that is between 90 and 93%. As for cruise missiles and ballistic threats, we are working with all partners to secure new contributions to the PURL program and to find other ways to obtain missiles. I am grateful to everyone who helps," he added.

Later the same day, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense also urged people not to ignore air raid alerts on May 30–31. Residents of Kyiv, in particular, were called on to remain especially vigilant. Notable that on March 31, the capital city traditionally celebrates its day.
