Zelenskyy and Rutte to meet in Brussels on December 18
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The meeting will take place on December 18 in Brussels, according to NATO's press service.
As reported by the agency, Rutte will host Zelenskyy at his official residence in Brussels. A joint press conference with the NATO Secretary General and the Ukrainian President is also scheduled.
It is worth noting that Rutte has several other meetings planned for that day, including a meeting with the President of Lithuania and the Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Zelenskyy's visit to Brussels
A few days ago, the media reported that Zelenskyy would visit Brussels on December 18. There, he is expected to meet with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, NATO, and the EU.
Later, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice, Olha Stefanishyna, confirmed Zelenskyy's visit. According to her, he will participate in the first meeting of the European Council following the appointment of its president.
Zelenskyy himself stated that he would meet with the leaders of several European countries in Brussels. He plans to discuss long-range capabilities and other issues.
