President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will soon meet with the leaders of a number of European countries in Brussels. Among other things, he plans to discuss long-range capabilities, according to a press conference of the Ukrainian President and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

A journalist asked President Zelenskyy if the issue of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine would be discussed during his meeting with European leaders in Brussels.

"Everyone who will be there has the right to raise various questions. The main thing we need now is to urgently strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield, politically, and geopolitically. How we achieve a common perspective on this strengthening with all leaders, especially in Europe," he replied.

According to the President, it is important that the new Trump administration hears that everyone in Europe is united in their pursuit of a just peace and results, which are needed next year.

"So, the question may be not only about the contingent, there will also be questions that Ukraine needs to know. These include our long-range capabilities, maximum funding for our domestic production, our forces to support the Armed Forces," Zelenskyy clarified.

Zelenskyy's visit to Brussels

Earlier Reuters reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Brussels tomorrow, December 18. His schedule includes meetings with leaders from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, NATO, and the EU.

In turn, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Justice Minister Olha Stefanishyna, confirmed that Zelenskyy will visit Brussels.

In particular, he will participate in the first session of the European Council following the appointment of its President.
