Zaporizhzhia hit by Russian strike, 7-year-old child dead

Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia overnight. A 7-year-old child, injured during the shelling, died in the hospital, according to the Telegram channel of Zaporizhzhia OVA head Ivan Fedorov.
"Tragic news. A 7-year-old boy who was injured during last night’s Russian attack has died in the hospital," Fedorov said.
He added that medical staff fought for the child’s life until the end, but the injuries were too severe.
Russian strike on Ukraine, October 10
Starting late on October 9, Russian forces began attacking Kyiv. The enemy launched drones toward the capital, resulting in multiple explosions being heard. Nine people have reportedly been injured in the capital as a result of the attacks.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko also noted that electricity has been completely cut off on the city’s left bank due to the Russian strikes.
Russian forces also attacked Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, causing fires and injuries among residents. The main targets of the attacks are reported to be energy infrastructure facilities.
According to the Ministry of Energy, Russian troops carried out a massive strike on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure overnight. Energy workers are taking all necessary measures to minimize the negative consequences.
