Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia sparks fire, injures residents

Russian forces again attacked Zaporizhzhia on the night of October 10. A building caught fire and people were injured as a result of the strikes, according to the Telegram channel of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov.
"The enemy is striking Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out as a result of the attack. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties," he wrote.
At the same time, Fedorov added that an air raid alert is ongoing across the region and urged residents to remain in safe locations until the all-clear.
A short time later, the Regional Military Administration head clarified that the occupiers carried out three strikes on the city. As a result, a residential building caught fire, and two people were reported injured.

The Regional Military Administration head clarified that among the two injured are a 7-year-old child and a 45-year-old woman. Both are in serious condition and are receiving medical care.

"Three people have now been injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. A 45-year-old man was taken to the hospital. He is in serious condition. Medical personnel are providing him with all necessary assistance," Fedorov reported.

Fedorov clarified that the Russian forces launched at least seven drone strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
“The private sector and infrastructure facilities were targeted. Several fires broke out. Three people were injured,” the statement said.
