Beginning late on October 9, Russian forces started attacks on Kyiv. The enemy launched drones toward the capital, and multiple explosions were heard.

In the Pecherskyi district, drone debris hit a multi-story residential building, causing a fire on the 6th and 7th floors of a 17-story building. Several apartments were damaged, and residents are being evacuated.

In the Holosiivskyi district, the facades of two residential buildings and two vehicles were damaged. In the Podil district, fragments of a downed enemy drone were found in a courtyard.
